Pecan Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup softened unsalted butter.
02 - 1 cup packed light brown sugar.
03 - 1/2 cup white sugar.
04 - 2 large eggs.
05 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla.
06 - 2 1/2 cups flour.
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
09 - 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped.
10 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
11 - 1 cup caramel topping.
12 - 1/4 cup maple syrup.
13 - Whole pecans for decoration.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up the oven to 350°F. Put parchment on your cookie sheet.
02 - Beat the butter with both sugars till light and fluffy. Add eggs one by one, then mix in vanilla.
03 - Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Slowly add to the butter mix.
04 - Stir chopped pecans into the cookie dough until they're spread out everywhere.
05 - Spoon rounded tablespoons of dough onto your tray. Bake for 10-12 mins until the edges turn golden.
06 - Heat up caramel sauce with maple syrup until it's all blended together.
07 - After cookies cool down, pour the caramel mix over them and stick a whole pecan on top of each.
