Fudgy Oreo Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of melted, unsalted butter.
02 - 1 cup of white sugar.
03 - Packed 3/4 cup of light brown sugar.
04 - Room temp 3 large eggs.
05 - Teaspoon of pure vanilla.
06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
07 - 3/4 cup cocoa powder, no added sugar.
08 - Half a teaspoon of salt.
09 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
10 - 12 Oreos, chopped roughly (goes in batter).
11 - 12 pieces of Oreos halved or crumbled (for topping).
12 - A half cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, optional.

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 350°F. Line up a square 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
02 - Combine sugars with melted butter. Beat in one egg at a time, then stir in vanilla.
03 - Sift cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly fold this into the wet bowl.
04 - Spread half the mixture, lay down Oreos, and cover with the rest of the batter.
05 - Sprinkle smashed Oreos and chocolate chips on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
06 - Let it cool in the pan for 20 minutes before cutting it into 16 pieces.

01 - Stop baking sooner for a fudgier result.
02 - Eggs blend best if they're not cold.
03 - Good in the freezer for up to three months.
