Vanilla Syrup Easy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 1 cup white sugar (200g)
02 - 1 cup plain water (240ml)

→ Taste Enhancer

03 - 2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste

# Instructions:

01 - In a small pan, combine the water and sugar. Heat it gently and stir without stopping until it just starts bubbling—should take around 3 minutes. Make sure the sugar completely dissolves so the mixture is smooth and clear.
02 - Take the pan off the stove as soon as the sugar is fully melted. Mix in the vanilla paste or extract to give it that rich, sweet vanilla touch.
03 - Pour the syrup into a clean jar or similar container. Give it time to cool down to room temperature before closing it tightly. Pop it in the fridge, where it'll last up to a month.

# Notes:

01 - Use tap water at room temperature for the smoothest consistency.
02 - Regular sugar works well, but superfine or caster sugar melts even faster.
03 - Vanilla bean paste adds a speckled look with visible vanilla seeds. Vanilla extract works fine too!
04 - Keep the syrup in a sealed container in your fridge to make it last longer.
