Spinach Chicken Cheddar Burgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 burger buns
02 - 1 lb ground chicken
03 - ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
04 - 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
05 - ¼ cup fancy breadcrumbs
06 - ¼ cup chopped onion, finely diced
07 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
08 - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
09 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
10 - Optional toppings: sliced tomato, lettuce, or extra cheese
11 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
12 - A bit of olive oil for frying or grilling

# Instructions:

01 - Toss everything—chicken, spinach, cheese, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, and black pepper—into a big bowl. Stir gently so it’s all mixed up evenly.
02 - Split the mixture into 4 pieces, then shape each piece into a patty about ¾ of an inch thick.
03 - Warm up a skillet on medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil, and cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side. They’re ready when the inside hits 165°F (75°C). Or, throw them on the grill over medium heat for the same amount of time.
04 - Place the patties on a plate and let them chill for a few minutes. Get the buns ready and load them up with patties and your favorite toppings—lettuce, tomato, maybe some extra cheese. Dig in and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Switch to gluten-free breadcrumbs and buns, or go bunless by using lettuce wraps.
02 - Grilling gives a nice smoky twist to the flavor.
03 - Lay uncooked patties on a tray to freeze, then bag them up and store for 3 months. Cook frozen patties directly, adding 2–3 minutes to the usual cooking time.
