Cream Cheese Sausage Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound uncooked hot pork sausage
02 - 1 (8 oz) block of softened cream cheese
03 - 1 1/2 cups of Bisquick baking mix
04 - 1 (10 oz) can of drained Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
05 - 1/4 cup green onions, chopped small
06 - 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400°F. Put parchment paper on two baking pans before starting.
02 - Use an electric mixer at medium to soften the cream cheese until it’s nice and smooth—no lumps allowed.
03 - Mix sausage into the cream cheese by hand until they’re mostly mixed. Add the tomatoes, Bisquick, cheese, and onions, then gently stir everything together until blended.
04 - Scoop mixture into walnut-sized portions, rolling them into 1-inch balls. Place them spaced out on the lined baking trays.
05 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until they turn a light golden color and hit 160°F inside.
06 - Let them sit for a few minutes so they cool down a bit. Serve warm and enjoy! Add dipping sauce if you want to.

# Notes:

01 - Use your hands or a low setting on a stand mixer to mix.
02 - Stir until combined, but don’t overdo it—it might ruin the texture.
03 - Make the same size balls so they cook evenly.
