Spicy Nashville Cheese Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of mozzarella cheese, cut into stick shapes.
02 - 1 cup plain flour.
03 - 3 eggs, beaten.
04 - 1 cup plain breadcrumbs.
05 - 1 cup panko-style breadcrumbs.
06 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika.
07 - 1 teaspoon cayenne spice.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
10 - Salt and black pepper as desired.
11 - Enough avocado oil for frying.
12 - 1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted).
13 - 2 tablespoons ground cayenne.
14 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
15 - 1 teaspoon paprika (for sauce).
16 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder for kick (optional).
17 - 2 to 3 tablespoons of spicy sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut mozzarella into sticks about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.
02 - Set up three bowls: one for flour, one for eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with spices.
03 - Dredge cheese sticks, covering first in flour, then egg, breadcrumbs, and repeat egg and breadcrumb layers.
04 - Put coated sticks in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes.
05 - Heat oil to 375°F and fry sticks for 1-2 minutes until they turn golden. Drain them on a rack afterward.
06 - Combine the melted butter with spices, brown sugar, and hot sauce in a small pan.
07 - Coat the fried sticks in the spicy butter mix and eat right away.
