Sausage Orzo Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of diced bell peppers.
02 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
03 - 2 cups of chicken stock.
04 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil.
05 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped.
06 - 3 minced garlic cloves.
07 - 1 pound of Italian sausage, without casings.
08 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
09 - 1 cup of orzo pasta.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the sausage in some oil for about 5-7 minutes till browned. Take it out of the pan and set it aside.
02 - Sauté garlic and onion until soft, then toss in the peppers and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
03 - Pour in the broth and orzo, get it boiling, then lower the heat to simmer for 10-12 minutes until the pasta softens.
04 - Put the sausage back in the pan, let everything simmer another 5 minutes, and toss in the fresh herbs before it's ready to serve.

# Notes:

01 - Spicy or mild sausage, pick whichever you like.
02 - Any bell pepper color works fine for this.
03 - Add extra broth if the dish feels too dry.
