Garlic Cheesesteak Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Bread Prep

01 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
02 - 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
03 - A pinch of salt
04 - 1 French bread loaf, large, split lengthwise
05 - 4 tbsp of softened unsalted butter
06 - 1 tbsp of finely chopped parsley

→ Cheesesteak Mixture

07 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
08 - 2 tbsp olive oil
09 - 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
10 - 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
11 - 1 medium onion, sliced into thin strips
12 - 1 lb of ribeye steak, cut very thin
13 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
14 - Salt and black pepper as needed

→ Cheese Layer

15 - 2 cups of provolone cheese, shredded

→ Extras for Flavor

16 - Fresh parsley or chives
17 - A dash of red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, combine your softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and a touch of salt. Spread this over your bread halves, then bake at 375°F for about 5-7 minutes till they're just a bit crispy.
02 - Heat olive oil in a pan on medium-high. Cook steak slices for around 4-5 minutes until browned. Take them out and put them aside. Toss your onions and peppers in the same pan to get them soft. Put the steak back in, then mix in Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Place the steak and veggie mixture on the toasted bread, topping it all with shredded provolone. Bake this for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
04 - Allow it to cool just a little. Add a sprinkle of fresh herbs or red pepper flakes if you like, slice it up, and serve while it’s still warm.

# Notes:

01 - For a quicker option, swap the ribeye with deli roast beef.
02 - Mix mozzarella with provolone for an extra gooey finish.
