Mini Breakfast Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups pancake batter mix.
02 - 1 1/2 cups water.
03 - 1 lb ground breakfast sausage.
04 - 1 cup grated cheddar cheese.
05 - 1/4 cup real maple syrup.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up oven to 400°F. Coat mini muffin pan with grease. Brown and break up sausage, pour off grease.
02 - Combine pancake mix with water until lump-free. Stir in browned sausage, cheese, and syrup.
03 - Spoon mixture into muffin cups, making each about 3/4 full.
04 - Pop in oven for 12-15 minutes till golden and a toothpick stuck in comes out dry.
05 - Cool for a few minutes before popping out of tin. Drizzle extra syrup on top if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Switch up the cheese type or use maple-flavored sausage for a twist.
02 - Stays fresh for 4 days when refrigerated or 3 months when frozen.
03 - Tasty alongside fresh fruit or a dollop of yogurt.
