Warm up oven to 400°F. Coat mini muffin pan with grease. Brown and break up sausage, pour off grease.

Combine pancake mix with water until lump-free. Stir in browned sausage, cheese, and syrup.

Spoon mixture into muffin cups, making each about 3/4 full.

Pop in oven for 12-15 minutes till golden and a toothpick stuck in comes out dry.

Cool for a few minutes before popping out of tin. Drizzle extra syrup on top if you want.
