Honey Chicken Mac (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound pasta spirals.
02 - 1 1/2 pounds crispy chicken tenders.
03 - 5 pieces of bacon, cooked and crumbled.
04 - 3/4 cup of honey.
05 - 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar.
06 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium).
07 - 1/4 cup of pineapple juice.
08 - Juice squeezed from 1 lemon.
09 - 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
10 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper.
11 - A pinch (1/4 tsp) of cayenne pepper.
12 - 1 stick of butter.
13 - 2 cups heavy whipping cream.
14 - 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated.
15 - 1 cup of freshly grated mozzarella.
16 - 3/4 cup colby jack cheese, freshly grated.
17 - 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced fine.
18 - Fresh basil leaves for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the package steps to heat up the chicken strips.
02 - Cook the spirals until they're slightly firm, then drain them well.
03 - Mix honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, fruit juices, black pepper, and cayenne. Heat to boil, then leave it to simmer for 15 minutes to thicken it up.
04 - Heat butter and cream together, then slowly add all the shredded cheeses and garlic as you stir.
05 - Toss the pasta with the cheese mixture and bacon crumbles. Coat the chicken in the honey mixture until covered.
06 - Place the chicken on top of the cheesy pasta. Sprinkle with basil and bacon bits if you want a little extra.
