Crack Green Beans (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 pounds of green beans, fresh.
02 - 8 strips of bacon.
03 - 2 tbsp butter, melted.
04 - 4 tbsp honey.
05 - 1/4 cup of soft brown sugar.
06 - 3 tbsp soy sauce.
07 - 1 tsp each garlic and onion powder.
08 - 1/2 tsp paprika.
09 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F, then fry bacon until crunchy. Chop it up.
02 - Stir together melted butter, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, and spices.
03 - Place the green beans in a dish, pour the mix on top, and toss well. Sprinkle on the bacon pieces.
04 - Bake for 45 minutes, giving it a stir after about 20-30 minutes. Broil for 3-5 minutes at the end if you'd like it crisper.

01 - Keep a little sauce aside for the table.
02 - For crispier texture, broil briefly.
03 - Don't forget to mix halfway while baking.
