Cinnamon Breakfast Cups (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups regular flour.
02 - 1 cup white sugar.
03 - 2 teaspoons rising powder.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon table salt.
05 - 1/2 cup plain butter, melted down.
06 - 1 cup fresh milk.
07 - 2 big eggs.
08 - 1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg.
10 - 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla.
11 - 1/2 cup white sugar (for the topping).
12 - 1 tablespoon powdered cinnamon (for the topping).

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up oven to 375°F. Put paper cups in a 12-hole muffin pan.
02 - Mix flour, sugar, rising powder, salt, and cinnamon together in a container.
03 - Stir together the butter, milk, eggs, nutmeg, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
04 - Slowly add dry stuff to wet stuff, stirring just enough to mix them.
05 - Pour batter into cups until they're about 2/3 full. Cook for 20-25 minutes till they're done.
06 - Combine sugar and cinnamon for coating. Dunk the warm tops into this sweet mix.
07 - Put muffins back in oven for 2-3 minutes to make the sugar topping crispy.

# Notes:

01 - They'll stay good for 3 days if kept at room temp.
02 - Try them with maple syrup or some whipped cream on top.
03 - You can add fresh berries or some nuts if you want to.
