Eggnog Tiramisu (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream.
02 - 16 oz of mascarpone cheese.
03 - 1/4 cup of eggnog (for the syrup).
04 - 3/4 cup eggnog (goes into the filling).
05 - Pinch of salt.
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
07 - 2/3 cup coffee brewed strong.
08 - 3/4 cup sugar (used in filling).
09 - 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, ground.
10 - Cocoa powder to sprinkle.
11 - 1/2 cup sugar (used in the syrup).
12 - 7 oz of Savoiardi ladyfingers (24 pieces).

# Instructions:

01 - Stir sugar and coffee over heat until sugar melts. Off the heat, mix in eggnog. Let it cool fully.
02 - Whip your heavy cream until it gets nice and stiff. Keep it aside.
03 - In a bowl, combine mascarpone, sugar, eggnog, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt. Gently fold in your whipped cream.
04 - Soak your ladyfingers in the coffee syrup, then line them up in an 8-inch dish. Spread half the filling on top.
05 - Layer more syrup-soaked ladyfingers and add the rest of the filling. Pipe some filling on top using a bag.
06 - Cover your dish up and let it chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
07 - Right before bringing it to the table, sprinkle some cocoa powder on top.

# Notes:

01 - Espresso powder mixed with water works as a coffee replacement.
02 - Cut ladyfingers after dipping if it makes layering easier.
03 - Needs minimum 6 hours in the fridge to set properly.
