Breakfast Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 store-bought 9-inch pie crust.
02 - 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage.
03 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded.
04 - 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped small.
05 - 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions.
06 - 6 eggs, large.
07 - 1 cup milk (your choice of type).
08 - Salt and pepper, adjust to your liking.
09 - 1/4 cup crunchy bacon bits.
10 - Chopped fresh chives to sprinkle on top.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn oven to 375°F. Put crust in the pie pan, poke the bottom with a fork, and bake it alone for 10 minutes.
02 - Beat eggs with milk, seasoning them however you like. Toss in sausage, cheese, onions, and peppers.
03 - Pour your egg mixture into the pre-baked crust. Level it out with a spoon.
04 - Bake it for about 30-35 minutes, or until firm. Sprinkle bacon on 5 minutes before it’s done. Let it cool for 10 minutes before eating.
