Crispy Tater Skewers (Print Version)

01 - 48 frozen tater tots
02 - 8 strips bacon, finely diced
03 - 1/2 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 2 green onions, thinly sliced
05 - Optional: Sour cream for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to the temperature recommended on the tater tots package, usually around 425°F (220°C). Lay the frozen tots in a single layer on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Let them bake for about 28 minutes, turning them once to get both sides crispy and golden.
02 - After baking, let the tater tots cool a bit so you can handle them easily. Gently slide 4–6 tater tots onto each skewer, keeping them spaced evenly.
03 - Place the skewered tots back onto a fresh parchment-lined tray. Sprinkle them with shredded cheddar cheese first, then add the finely chopped bacon. Use half the sliced green onions and spread them across the skewers.
04 - Pop the tray back into the oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling nicely.
05 - Take the skewers out of the oven and sprinkle the rest of the green onions on top. Serve them warm with a bit of sour cream on the side as a dip, if you'd like.
