Crispy Crab Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of crab meat, checked for shells.
02 - Half a cup of breadcrumbs, plus a bit more for coating.
03 - 1 large egg, whisked lightly.
04 - 2 tablespoons of mayo.
05 - A teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
06 - 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire.
07 - A teaspoon of Old Bay spice mix.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon of optional smoked paprika.
10 - 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped fresh.
11 - 1 teaspoon grated zest of a lemon (optional).
12 - Add salt and black pepper as you like.
13 - 1 cup oil (vegetable) for frying.

# Instructions:

01 - Sort through crab meat to remove shells while keeping the chunks intact.
02 - Gently stir together the crab meat, breadcrumbs, egg, mayo, mustard, and spices.
03 - Roll the mixture into small balls about 1 to 1.5 inches and cover with extra breadcrumbs.
04 - In a deep skillet, bring oil up to 350°F.
05 - Fry a few balls at once, cooking each side for around 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
06 - Use a slotted spoon to pull them out and put them on paper towels to remove extra oil.

01 - You can prep them earlier and fry right before eating.
02 - Pair these with your favorite sauces for dipping.
03 - Handle with care to keep the crab chunks whole.
