Golden fried beef wraps (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Things You'll Need

01 - Refried pinto beans (1 can)
02 - Flour tortillas (6 big ones)
03 - Ground beef (1 pound)
04 - Shredded cheese (2 cups)
05 - Water for beef (1 cup)
06 - Vegetable oil for frying (2 cups)

→ Beef Spice Mix

07 - Chili powder (1 tablespoon)
08 - Seasoned salt (½ tablespoon)
09 - Cumin (½ tablespoon)
10 - Dried oregano (½ teaspoon)
11 - Garlic powder or garlic salt (1 teaspoon)
12 - Black pepper (1 teaspoon)
13 - Water (½ to 1 cup)

→ Optional Toppings

14 - Chopped tomatoes
15 - Sour cream
16 - Fresh salsa
17 - Shredded lettuce

# Instructions:

01 - Using medium heat, cook the ground beef in a skillet until it's no longer pink. Once cooked, drain any extra grease with a strainer.
02 - Put the drained meat back in the skillet. Sprinkle in the spices, then add water. Stir everything together and let it simmer until the water is gone.
03 - Pour vegetable oil into another pan and place it over medium heat. As it heats, you can start putting together the burritos.
04 - Spread about a spoonful of refried beans near one edge of the tortilla. Add a scoop or two of the seasoned beef and a good handful of cheese over the top.
05 - Fold the tortilla tightly around the fillings. Once you're halfway through rolling, tuck the sides inward, then roll all the way until it's sealed.
06 - Keep rolling the burritos until you've used all the filling or tortillas.
07 - Carefully place tortillas seam-side down into the hot oil. Fry them for about one or two minutes per side until they're crispy and golden, including the edges.
08 - Remove the fried burritos and set them to drain on paper towels or a baking sheet. Add your favorite toppings before serving. Enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - You can prep and freeze these for later.
02 - Rolling them tightly prevents any messy leaks.
03 - Always fry seam-side down first to seal it shut.
