Cottage Cheese Alfredo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta Base

01 - 8 ounces of pasta

→ Sauce Ingredients

02 - 1 tsp of cornstarch
03 - 1 cup of full-fat or whole milk cottage cheese
04 - 3/4 cup of milk (whole milk is best)
05 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano
07 - A pinch of salt, adjust to your liking
08 - 1/2 tsp basil (dried)
09 - Black pepper as needed
10 - 1 tsp garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the pasta the way it says on the package. Put it to the side when done.
02 - Place cottage cheese, milk, Parmesan, cornstarch, garlic powder, basil, and oregano into a blender. Blend it all until the mixture is silky.
03 - Pour the blended sauce into a big pan on low heat. Stir every once in a while and let it warm for about 5 minutes or until the temperature is just right for you.
04 - Toss the cooked pasta into the warm sauce. Stir it all around until everything's coated well. Taste and add salt or pepper if needed.
05 - Dish it up and dig in! Sprinkle some Parmesan, parsley, or a little extra black pepper on top if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Add some freshly chopped basil or parsley for extra yumminess.
02 - Feel free to tweak the spices. A bit more garlic or pepper can really kick things up.
