Warm up oven to 350°F. Butter a 9x5-inch loaf pan well.

Stir flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.

Mix butter and sugar till light and airy, roughly 2 minutes. Drop in eggs one by one, then add vanilla.

Switch between adding flour mix and buttermilk to your butter blend, beginning and finishing with flour.

Combine brown sugar with cinnamon in a small dish.

Dump half your batter in the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mix, add leftover batter and cinnamon. Run a knife through to make swirls.

Pop in oven for 50-60 minutes till it's done. Let sit 10 minutes in the pan, then move to cooling rack.
