# Ingredients:

→ Main Loaf Mixture

01 - 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
02 - 1 lb ground beef
03 - 1 egg
04 - 1 cup bread crumbs
05 - 1/2 cup milk
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - Salt and pepper as you like
08 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 cup sliced mushrooms
10 - 1/2 cup diced onion
11 - 1 cup sliced provolone cheese

→ Topping Glaze

12 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
13 - 1/4 cup ketchup
14 - 1/2 cup beef broth
15 - 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it heat up.
02 - Take a big bowl and throw in the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, mushrooms, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and your seasonings. Blend it all together until it feels consistent.
03 - Grab a loaf pan and push half the beef mix into it. Lay down slices of provolone, making sure to leave an edge. Add the rest of the beef mixture on top, sealing it shut around the edges.
04 - Stir together ketchup, mustard, beef broth, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Pour it over the meatloaf, then bake for an hour. Once it’s out, leave it for 10 minutes before cutting.

# Notes:

01 - Stores well for a quick reheat later.
02 - Tastes great in sandwiches the next day.
03 - Switch out breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option if needed.
