Honey Butter Alabama Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
02 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
03 - 1/2 tsp salt
04 - 1 tsp baking powder
05 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar
07 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

→ Wet Ingredients

08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
09 - 1/2 cup whole milk
10 - 1/4 cup honey
11 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
12 - 2 large eggs

→ Mix-ins

13 - 1 cup chopped pecans

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it heat up. Get a 9×5-inch loaf pan ready by greasing it or using parchment paper.
02 - In a big bowl, toss together the flour, white sugar, brown sugar, powder, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk until it’s all even.
03 - Take a separate bowl and whisk together the eggs, butter, honey, milk, and vanilla. Stir this mixture into your dry stuff, but don’t overdo it.
04 - Stir in the pecans gently. Pour the batter into your prepped pan. Bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool down for 10 minutes, then pop it onto a rack to finish cooling.

# Notes:

01 - Wait until it’s fully cooled to slice for a cleaner cut.
02 - Tastes great on its own or warmed up with butter and honey.
