01 -
Slice steak into pieces about 2-3 inches. Coat with avocado oil, then rub on your spicy seasoning. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to come up to room temp.
02 -
Peel and cut up potatoes, then soak them for 10 minutes in cold water. Drain and boil in salted water until soft enough to poke with a fork.
03 -
Warm up avocado oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Cook steak pieces without touching for 2 minutes, flip, then cook another minute. Lower heat and give it 1 more minute.
04 -
Melt butter in the pan, toss in the garlic, and let it cook until you can smell it. Add steak back, toss it around, then pull it out and cover lightly with foil.
05 -
Use the same pan, add more garlic and butter. Pour in the cream, let it bubble for a few minutes, then stir in the pepper flakes, diced green onions, and parmesan. Mix until smooth and thick.
06 -
Drain your boiled potatoes, then mix in the butter, cream, cheeses, and seasonings. Mash everything together until creamy.
07 -
Spoon the mashed potatoes onto a plate, place steak pieces on top, and drizzle a good amount of that parmesan sauce over it all.
