Turn your oven up to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper for no-mess cooking.

Take the loaf and slice it down the middle to make two equal halves. Put these on the lined tray with the inside parts facing up.

Spread the butter mixture generously over each bread half, ensuring it's evenly covered for the best taste.

Scatter the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan across the buttered surfaces. Make sure the cheese goes all the way to the edges.

Bake the bread for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles. For a crispier top, broil it for about 1–2 minutes at the end, and keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
