Pecan Pie Brownie Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup melted, unsalted butter (for the brownie mixture).
02 - 1 cup white sugar.
03 - 2 large eggs (used in the brownies).
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla (add to brownies).
05 - 1/2 cup regular flour.
06 - 1/3 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
09 - 1/2 cup light corn syrup.
10 - Packed 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
11 - 1/4 cup melted, unsalted butter (for topping).
12 - 2 large eggs (used for the topping).
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla (for the topping).
14 - 1 1/2 cups halved pecans.

# Instructions:

01 - Blend sugar with melted butter, then whisk in vanilla and eggs. In another bowl, stir dry ingredients, then combine with wet.
02 - Pour batter halfway into mini muffin tin sections. Bake for 10-12 minutes until almost done.
03 - Mix corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla together. Fold in pecans gently.
04 - Scoop the pecan mixture over the brownies that were partially baked.
05 - Bake again for 12-15 minutes until the pecan layer is solid and bubbling.

# Notes:

01 - Dark corn syrup can make the flavor richer.
02 - Mini chocolate chips can be tossed into the brownie mix if you'd like.
03 - If kept at room temperature, they'll stay good for 3 days.
