Best Rib Seasoning (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon kosher salt.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika.
03 - 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder.
04 - 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse black pepper.
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves.
06 - 2 teaspoons dried rosemary.

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, toss together thyme, black pepper, paprika, and rosemary. Press the rosemary gently with a spoon.
02 - Use paper towels to dry the surface of the prime rib completely.
03 - Evenly scatter the salt over all sides of the meat, holding your hand about six inches above it.
04 - Sprinkle the spice mix on the meat, then rub it in with light, circular motions.
05 - Wrap the meat tightly in two layers of plastic wrap. Place in the fridge for anywhere between 6 and 24 hours.

# Notes:

01 - Amounts work for a 5-6 lb boneless cut or 7-8 lb bone-in roast.
02 - Let it sit at least 6 hours to soak up the flavors.
