Ground Beef Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef.
02 - 8 ounces of your favorite noodles.
03 - 3 tablespoons of soy sauce.
04 - ½ tablespoon of dark soy sauce.
05 - 2 tablespoons of mirin.
06 - ¼ cup of water, plus another 2 tablespoons kept separate.
07 - 5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
08 - 2 teaspoons of minced ginger.
09 - ½ teaspoon of sesame oil.
10 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
11 - ½ teaspoon of chili flakes.
12 - Black pepper, as much as you'd like.
13 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
14 - 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce.
15 - 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
16 - 3 green onions, sliced (tops and bottoms separated).
17 - 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir soy sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, mirin, pepper, and ¼ cup water until blended. In another small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water.
02 - Cook noodles following the directions on their package.
03 - In a wok, cook the ground beef until it's fully browned and no pink shows. Drain the grease and set the beef aside.
04 - Sauté the onion whites, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes in oil for about half a minute.
05 - Pour in the sauce, cornstarch blend, and beef. Cook for about 4 minutes, stirring often.
06 - Toss in the noodles, the onion tops, and a dash of sesame oil. Give it a good toss to combine.

# Notes:

01 - If you don’t have mirin, you can use rice vinegar instead.
02 - Leaving out the dark soy sauce is fine.
03 - Takes only 20 minutes to make from start to end.
