Chicken Cabbage Stir-Fry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound diced chicken breast.
02 - 1 medium onion, thinly sliced.
03 - 1 bell pepper, cut into strips.
04 - 1 tablespoon of butter.
05 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
06 - 2 cups of chopped cabbage.
07 - 1 large carrot, cut into sticks.
08 - 1 tablespoon optional oyster sauce.
09 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
10 - 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes if you like heat.
11 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
13 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch stirred into 2 tablespoons of water (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Chop the veggies, mince the garlic, slice the onion, and dice the chicken into pieces you can manage in one bite.
02 - Melt the butter in a pan, toss in the chicken, and cook until it’s golden—this takes around 5 to 7 minutes. Take it out and set it aside for later.
03 - Start with the onion and garlic, stir them around for just a minute or two. Add in the carrot, cabbage, and bell pepper next, cooking everything for 5 minutes.
04 - Pop the chicken back in the pan, pour in the sauces and spices, and if needed, stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken it all up.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh veggies will give you the best taste and crunch.
02 - You can tweak how spicy it is to your own liking.
