                Whip the cream cheese, sour cream, and seasonings until smooth. Stir in 1.5 cups of cheddar, plus half the bacon, jalapenos, and green onions.

                In a bag, toss together the extra cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and green onions. Chill inside the fridge until later.

                Use plastic wrap to shape the mixture into a ball. Let it sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

                Twenty minutes before serving, roll the cold cheese ball in the leftover topping mix.
